    Hatteras Bluefin March 7/8

    With the weather window that opened up, Capt. Chip Baker, Chris aka Demon, Mikey and I decided to head up to Hatteras Island in search of bluefin tuna on jigging and popping tackle.     Excellent fishing and weather. The weather was warm and sunny today and the fish were biting. Boats were fishing for Bluefin Tuna. One group from New York and New Jersey caught 12 Bluefins jigging. A few Blackfins and Albacore were also caught.
